| Amestris |
| Central
A great city containing a huge number of people. This city is the center of the military's operations and contains homes and businesses, as well as the secretive Factory 5. Central has been taking alot of damage lately. Half of Central is distroyed and many homes runed thanks to many things. The whole upper side is obliviated. Since the distruction of the gate a large vacant structure known as the Statue of Liberty can be seen in the center of Central.

| Youswell
Youswell is a mining town that was once owned by the military. Under it's rule the military gave the workers outrageous taxes, but now the town is owned by a friend of the Elric Brothers. Youswell's main mining cave is annihalted. Many people have been forced to live on the streets. The city's population has also grown a bit as well as the size of the city.

The hometown of Ed and Al, Risembool is also home to two of the best automail mechanics in the world, Winry Rockbell and her grandmother Pinako. After the gate was destroyed a complex of buildings that was known as the Apostolic Palace was sent to Risembool. It is now the HQ of BFD.

A small village where a Philosophers stone was rumored to be made. However Ed and Al discovered the was a fake created with red water. The last effects of the red water are fading away from the town now, and things are returning to normal.

| Lior in Ruins (1 sub-board)
Seen in episodes one and two, this is a strangely prosperous city in Amestris. Many many important events have taken place here in the past. Once the gate was destroyed the structre that was once known as Stone Henge can be seen near the city. Know the city is completly destroyed. All that can be found is ruins.

A city where Ed and Al caught up in the manhunt for a talented cat burglar, Psiren, who uses her skills as an alchemist to make fools of the local police time and again. The city is now mostly abbandoned but is mostly the new home for chimeras.

The famous Rush Valley is the automail capital of the world. This is the place you want to come to for a new limb or just a tune up. Now the city is completly destroyed and all that is left is ruble.

Areugo lies to the south of Amestris. Not much is known about this country other than the fact that it has border skirmishes quite frequently with the Amestrian Military.

Creata lies to the west of Amestris. Not much is known about this country other than the fact that it has border skirmishes quite frequently with the Amestrian Military. When the gate was distroyed several corporate buildings appeared. The buildings were taken over by Gregory Deeds. It is know called Mammon Co.

| Drachma
A hostile country located north of Amestris, the Briggs Mountains separate Drachma and Amestris, which makes invasion for either country too much of a hassle. Most of the battles against Original Sin's army were fought here.

| Xing
A country far to the east of Amestris, across the Great Desert, with a Chinese cultural base. There are several routes to Xing. The first is a rail system that was buried in the desert; the second is a route through the Khshayarsha (Xerxes) ruins; the third is by sea. Xing has alchemy, but appears to be for medical purposes and research. It is here where everything began.

| Ishbal (1 sub-board)
Located east of Amestris, Isshuvaru (Ishbar, or Ishvar) was annexed by Amestris during the Ishver Civil Conflict. The cultural base may be Indian or Middle Eastern, with a suggested compromise interpretation of Persian. The Ishvarites are monotheists who do not believe in or allow alchemy, however, Ishvara means 'god' in Sanskrit. The Ishvarites' proximity to the ruined city of Xerxes (possibly destroyed through alchemical reaction) may be partly reason for their ban on Alchemy. When the gate was destroyed the structure known asthe Greek theater was transported here. It is know used as the base of the Works of Ishballa.

| The Great Desert (2 sub-boards)
The Great Desert is an enormous desert that separated Ishval from Xing. In the middle of the desert lies the ruins of the city of Xerxes, which as legend has it vanished in a single night when the people of the city tried to gain the philosopher's stone. There used to be a rail line from Ishval across the desert to Xing but the sands covered it up and rendered it unusable. Since the distruction of the gate the structures known as piramids can be seen in the middle of The Great Desert. No one knows what lies in there, but many belive that their area millions of treasures in them.
